Fix Microsoft Edge Error Code 3 (0X800706B5)
The reason why you encounter Microsoft error code 3 (0X800706B5) is due to corrupted system files. To resolve this error, you must run SFC (System File Checker) to repair it. Here’s how you do that:

- Right-click on Command Prompt in the search results.
- Select “Run as administrator” from the context menu.
- In the cmd window, type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
Wait for the SFC scan to complete. In my case, the SFC scan completed with the following message: “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.”
After the SFC scan was completed, I restarted my computer. When I opened the Edge browser after logging in again, I noticed that Microsoft Edge Error Code 3 (0X800706B5) had been fixed. All other Edge features that had not functioned before now did. I hope this tutorial helps.
