Using the Microsoft store, you can install several third-party apps on Windows 11 computer. However, these apps must be updated, otherwise you won’t be able to use it.
Why update Apps on Windows 11?
So, should you update all the Windows 11 Apps? Yes, you must always update all the apps to the latest version. With that, you get the latest features added to the apps and most of the known bugs are fixed.
For example, if you try to open a Windows 11 App that isn’t updated, you get the following message. A new version of the app is ready for you to install. You must click the Update button to update this app to the latest version.
How to Update Windows 11 Apps
So let’s look at the steps to update Windows 11 apps from Microsoft Store. From the Windows 11 taskbar, launch the Microsoft Store application. In the Microsoft Store application window, click Library.
The Library displays the list of apps installed on your Windows 11 computer and the apps that require update. To update all the apps at once, click Update All. In case you don’t find any updates for apps, you can check for new updates by clicking Get Updates button.
When you update all the Windows 11 apps, the updates are downloaded and installed. This process takes some time because you may have many apps that require updates.
After the Windows 11 apps are updated, you should find a notification about the apps being updated. You don’t need to restart your computer unless you are asked for.
