In this short post, I will show you how to disable console extension notifications in SCCM. If you are getting repeated notifications from a specific console extension, you can permanently turn it off.
In my previous guide, I covered on managing console extensions in SCCM. It covered information on the new SCCM console extension styles, including steps for installation, approval, and removal of extensions.
Admin Console notifications keep you updated on new or enhanced features, modifications to Configuration Manager and related services, and issues that need your attention for resolution.

A custom console extension can send multiple notifications to users during work. While it’s possible to disable all site notifications at once, this approach is not recommended. Instead, there’s a simple way to manage notifications from a specific extension. Let’s get started.
Disable notifications from a console extension
To turn off the notifications from a specific console extension, you can use these steps. First launch the Configuration Manager console. Go to Administration\Overview\Updates and Servicing\Console Extensions. Select the console extension and, in the top ribbon, click Disable Notifications.

On the confirmation box, select Yes. That should permanently turn off the notifications from the selected console extension.
In the below screenshot, I am disabling the notifications from the WebView2 extension. Community Hub and additional Configuration Manager features, like custom tabs in Software Center, require the WebView2 console extension.

If you wish to re-enable the notifications from the extension for console users, just select the console and click Enable Notifications.
