Starting October 2024, Microsoft has announced the integration of the Dell Management Portal for Intune, which will provide streamlined access to Dell-specific Windows device management features.
Since few months, Microsoft has been planning to expand their OEM integration by adding Dell Management Portal to the Intune dashboard. With this integration, you can more effectively secure the Dell laptops that Intune is in charge of managing.
The Dell Management Portal will appear in the Partner portals tab in the Devices blade of the Intune admin center. In the same section, you should also find Surface and HP management portals too.

Integrate Dell Management Portal for Intune
Here’s how you can connect to the Dell management portal from Intune. First, sign in to the Intune admin center. Navigate to Devices > Partner Portals. Select Dell Management Portal.

On the Dell Management portal page, click on Connect now button as shown in the below screenshot.

This is an important step. On the Entra login screen, you will have to checkbox the option “Consent on behalf of your organisation” to allow dell app to access the data. Granting those permissions enables the new integrated Dell app deployment, reporting, and more. Review the permissions and click Accept.

That’s all. Once connected, IT admins can view the Dashboard for device insights and action, for their Microsoft Intune environment. Here you can find all your Dell devices from your Intune environment and Dell applications. There is an option to quickly search the BIOS password by entering the service tag of your Dell device.

View Intune devices in Dell Management Portal
Next to the dashboard, you will find two tabs: Devices and Apps. The Devices tab lists all your Dell PCs that you manage from Intune. Whereas the Apps tab shows all the Intune apps for Dell. This portal retrieves your latest device data every 30 minutes from Intune.
On the Devices tab, you can view details of the devices retrieved from Intune. The device details include:
