Configuration Manager supports installing client software on Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. Older operating systems such as Windows XP, 7, 8 are no more supported as clients for SCCM. To obtain the newest updates, Microsoft advises you to update your client operating system to the most recent version that is supported.
Starting with Configuration Manager version 2107, Windows 11 is officially supported as a client. However, version 2107 is outdated, so ensure you upgrade your SCCM to the latest available current branch version.

Note: Windows 10 support ends on 2025-10-14. You must upgrade all your existing computers to Windows 11 to get the latest security and critical updates.
