Upgrading SCOM 2012 R2 to version 2025
Note: The support for System Center 2012 R2 ended on July 12, 2022. This means that after this date, the following products no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, and online technical content updates.
If your setup is running SCOM 2012 R2, you have two ways to upgrade to Operations Manager 2025.
- Upgrade SCOM 2012 R2 → SCOM 2016 → SCOM 2019 → SCOM 2022 → SCOM 2025
- Upgrade SCOM 2012 R2 → SCOM 1801 → SCOM 2019 → SCOM 2022 → SCOM 2025
System Center 2025 Operations Manager follows the Fixed Lifecycle Policy. The mainstream end date is Jan 8, 2030, and the extended end date is Jan 9, 2035.
